Improving your city
The Wolverhampton City Strategy, produced in October 2011, sets out a clear sense of direction for Wolverhampton until 2026. It was developed by reviewing past performance against previous strategies, analysing data and trends, considering the implications of emerging government policy and listening to what local people, organisations and businesses think are the most important priorities for our city. It focuses on a long-term goal for our city of prosperity for all. We aim to achieve this by creating opportunities that encourage enterprise and business, empower people and communities and re-invigorate the city. To do so, the Strategy identifies 15 top priorities for action. We shall publish in the spring a document that captures progress and achievements that we have made over the last two years in delivering the Strategy and also our plan for what we shall do over the next two years to move closer to our goal prosperity for all.
